The free service covers the same checks Sona Air does on every annual visit: airflow inspection to keep your heating running efficiently, filter cleaning for cleaner indoor air, electrical safety testing, and an outdoor unit check. Normally valued between $140 and $270, it’s included at no extra cost when you install this winter.
Does the offer cover all systems, or just heat pumps?
It covers all three residential systems Sona Air installs: high wall heat pumps, ducted systems, and hot water heat pump systems. So whether you’re heating one room or the whole house, the free first service is part of the deal.
What is the 5-Year Care Plan?
It’s Sona Air’s annual maintenance programme, and your free first service gets built into it at install. After that, ongoing servicing is $140 a year for high wall systems and $270 a year for ducted systems. No hidden fees, no surprises.
How quickly can you install, and how disruptive is it?
Most residential installs are done in a single day. Once you submit your quote, a certified technician will visit your home to assess the space and recommend the right system. We aim to get back to you within one business hour and can usually schedule the install within a few days.
Are your installers properly qualified?
Yes. All Sona Air technicians are IQP-registered, Auckland Council registered, and approved to install Mitsubishi and Panasonic systems. You won’t get a cowboy job or a voided warranty.
Which brands do you work with?
Sona Air installs Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, and Daikin systems. These brands are chosen because they’re reliable, energy-efficient, and well-supported in New Zealand with local parts availability. Your technician will recommend the right model for your home during the free assessment.
