THE BASICS
What Is a Heat Pump?
A heat pump heats and cools your home by transferring heat rather than generating it directly, making it far more energy-efficient than standard electric heating. They range from a single indoor unit for one room through to fully ducted systems covering an entire home. The right type depends on how much of your home you want covered — compare your options below.
Which Heat Pump is Right for You?
Every home is different. Here’s how the four types compare’ so you can see roughly where you land before you talk to us

| Multi-System | A few rooms, one outdoor unit | ~$5,252 + GST avg |
| Ducted | Whole home, one controller | Site inspection required (e.g. $7,000–$15,000 for a 3-bed single-level home) |
